Belief in One God
Judaism only believes in one God. They are a monotheistic religion together with Christianity and Muslim. Believing in other gods is a sin and it disobeys the first and second commandment given by God to Moses.
Divinely inspired law and Importance of Covenant
Judaism follows the laws of God which was given to Moses, the Ten Commandments and Torah. Jews always follow the commandment of God to show respect for Him. They always do their best while still being a modern religion. Outline concept of divinely inspired law:
· Moral laws bind Jewish people to God
· Positive mitzvot refers to the goof faith to God while Negative mitzvot refers to the denial of God.
· There are 365 positive mitzvot and 248 negative mitzvot
· Ten Commandments is a part of mitzvot
